The Swedish director Ruben Östlund has carved out a unique filmmaking voice with movies that have all been laced with a black comedic nature.
His features The Square, Force Majeure, and most recently Triangle of Sadness are films you do not forget after watching them.
To help outline his approach, Östlund took to the stage at BAFTA to explain his storytelling techniques and also share his popular short film Incident by a Bank which can be watched during this lecture as well.
