Networking can often be a daunting experience for a creative. The pressure of being forced to talk about yourself or worse still, not being allowed to, because cliques have formed in the room, and you are ignored. This can happen too often at networking events. It is why at the Directors’ Forum we wanted to make networking a much easier experience. There are no cliques. All creatives are welcome in a relaxed environment -- a way of making you feel at ease. DF Mixers are our way of letting you know you have the support of your creative community.

How to Attend a DF Mixer
We post details of our DF Mixers in the stories of our Instagram. These posts will include the date and time, but not the location. This helps us manage the invites. If you would like to attend, all you need to do is DM us on Instagram when you see a DF Mixer you would like to attend for the full invite details.

DF Reps
To help facilitate bringing the DF Mixers to more international cities and towns, we reached out to members to become DF Reps. So, directors who understand the supportive nature of the Directors’ Forum volunteer to host small get togethers in their local community. These DF Mixers enable creatives around the world to meet directors in their own region. This initiative has enabled the Directors’ Forum to have get togethers in a number of international cities.
